In addition to all the above complex activities, it also went through a rigorous application process and a multidisciplinary audit conducted by Visa International, in order to obtain principal membership in the Visa network and meet all applicable operational and regulatory requirements.

This means that we have enormous management flexibility within our assigned BINs (Bank Identification Number), including: fast card production, 24/7 operator availability, direct BIN licensing, the ability to service affiliated members (banks that are not principals) and much more. Visa Principal Membership allows us to eliminate the need for third-party mediation, which results in lower transaction fees, greater control over the payment process, and significant analytics on user spending habits," said Novak Popić, MSc, member of the Management Board of Naša Banka ad Banja Luka.
