Naša Banka Banja Luka always with our people: Grants for an ecological project
Naša Banka ad Banja Luka, as a socially responsible domestic financial institution, donated grants to the Citizens' Association "Center for the Environment and Spatial Planning" in Banja Luka for the implementation of an ecological project in the municipality of Srbac. The donated grants are intended for the development of the Vrbas River bank, afforestation, water quality analysis and testing of ichthyofauna at the Gradina site in the Stari Martinac settlement in Srbac.
The donation of non-refundable funds is the final act of last year's successfully implemented promotional campaign of Naša Banka entitled "ALWAYS WITH OUR PEOPLE". The campaign was designed and implemented with the aim of providing concrete support for the preservation and sustainability of the environment and natural beauties that surround us, for a more beautiful, healthier and safer future for our current and future generations. 19 applications were received in response to last year's Public Call of Naša Banka. An independent expert committee determined in March of this year that the submitted project of the "Center for the Environment and Spatial Planning" largely contains everything that the Bank stated in the communication on its website during the campaign. Incomplete applications were not considered.
"We are grateful to Naša banka for recognizing the importance of our project and for actively participating in raising public awareness of environmental issues, just like we do. The funds donated to us will be used for the common good and will have a significant impact on the positive transformation of the Gradina site in Stari Martinac, in terms of the development of that nature park and adequate protection of the local flora and fauna," the "Center for Environment and Spatial Planning" said.
In order to ensure efficient implementation of projects, Naša Banka, in cooperation with the awarded applicant, will conduct joint control of the implementation of the funds spent.
