Cyber ​​Security Associate in the System Administration and Cyber ​​Security Department, Information Technology Sector, based in Banja Luka.

ABOUT THE POSITION

In order to further improve information security, Our Bank is looking for an experienced and responsible candidate for the position of Cyber ​​Security Associate.

The main task of this position is to organize, improve and control all processes within cyber security, while ensuring efficiency, security and compliance with applicable standards and regulatory requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support in operational activities related to security infrastructure and security systems;
• Monitoring and analysis of security events, logs, alerts and potential threats;
• Support in the detection, analysis, escalation and resolution of security incidents, including cyber attacks and potential misuse of IT and network resources;
• Documenting security incidents, integrations, technical specifications, deficiencies, risks and operational activities on the security infrastructure;
• Configuring and administering security tools in accordance with security standards, internal procedures and best practices;
• System administration of security tools, including installation, upgrade, maintenance and system validation;
• Analysis of existing configurations and improvement or modification of security infrastructure settings in accordance with current threats, standards and security requirements;
• Introduction, maintenance and improvement of security rules, policies and definitions in security systems;
• Identification, analysis and monitoring of vulnerabilities in information systems and infrastructure, as well as support in their removal;
• Monitoring the results of vulnerability assessment and penetration testing activities and coordinating activities to eliminate identified deficiencies;
• Participation in the assessment and management of cyber security risks, including the identification of potential threats and proposing measures to mitigate them;
• Providing support to other IT and business teams regarding information security initiatives, projects, problems and incidents;
• Participation in the implementation of new security solutions, technologies and controls;
• Monitoring current cyber threats, trends, technologies and best practices in the field of information security;
• Support in ensuring compliance of information systems and security processes with relevant regulatory requirements, standards and internal policies of the Bank;
• Participation in the preparation of reports on security incidents, risks, vulnerabilities and the state of information security for the needs of the relevant organizational units and management;
• Participation in activities related to business continuity and recovery of information systems from the aspect of information security;
• Support in activities to raise employee awareness about information security and the safe use of information resources.

CONDITIONS

– Higher professional education (electrical engineering, IT or other related field);

– Minimum 3 years of experience in information technology;

– Understanding of the regulatory framework and operational controls;

– Strong analytical and communication skills;

– Proactive approach to work and orientation towards problem solving;

– Ability to initiate and lead improvements and changes;

- Expressed team spirit with the ability to work independently;

– Creative approach to problem solving (“thinking outside the box”);

– Knowledge of the English language.

1. that he/she is a citizen of BiH;
2. that he is of legal age;
3. that he is medically fit to perform the tasks of the specific workplace;
4. that no criminal proceedings are being conducted against him;
5. that he/she has not been sentenced to imprisonment for any criminal offense against the economy or official duty.
